Eternal Brilliance
The white diamond is nature's most celebrated creation. A crystal of pure carbon, forged billions of years ago deep within the Earth's mantle under extraordinary heat and pressure. At Kwintner, we select only stones that speak to us: diamonds with exceptional fire, a clean brilliance, and that indefinable quality of life within the stone.
Our white diamonds are sourced from ethical mines across Botswana, Canada, and Australia. Each stone began its journey 1–3 billion years ago, crystallizing at depths of 150–200 kilometers beneath the Earth's surface before volcanic eruptions carried them upward through kimberlite pipes.
Rather than adhering rigidly to the traditional 4Cs, we prioritize the overall character of each diamond. We favor stones with exceptional light return and fire — that prismatic dance of spectral colors that makes a diamond come alive. Our preference leans toward VS clarity and F–H color grades, though we will always choose a stone with superior brilliance over one with merely superior paperwork.
Every white diamond (above 0.30 ct) in our collection is independently graded and certified by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), the world's foremost authority on diamond grading. This ensures complete transparency regarding carat weight, color, clarity, and cut quality.
Warm Earth Tones
Champagne diamonds carry the warmth of the earth within them. Golden, honeyed, and deeply organic. These are diamonds for those who see beauty in the unconventional, who understand that color is not a flaw but a signature. At Kwintner, champagne diamonds are central to our design language, embodying the raw, natural aesthetic that defines our work.
The majority of the world's champagne diamonds originate from the Argyle mine in Western Australia, one of the most significant diamond deposits ever discovered. Their warm color results from nitrogen atoms trapped within the crystal lattice during formation, combined with structural distortions that absorb blue light and allow warm golden tones to pass through.
Champagne diamonds range from light straw (C1–C2) through medium champagne (C3–C4) to deep cognac (C5–C7). We work primarily with C3–C5 stones, rich enough to display their distinctive warmth, yet transparent enough to reveal the internal life of the crystal. Many of our pieces feature raw, uncut champagne diamonds that preserve the natural octahedral crystal form.
Champagne diamonds pair with our hand-hammered gold in a way that feels inevitable. The warm tones of the stone echo the warm tones of the metal, creating a harmony that polished white diamonds cannot achieve. Nature's Watercolors
A parti sapphire is a single gemstone that contains two or more distinct colors - typically blue, green, and yellow - visible within the same crystal. The name derives from the French 'parti-colored,' meaning divided into parts. No two parti sapphires are alike; each is a unique watercolor painting rendered in mineral form. They are, for us, the most exciting gemstones in the world.
Our parti sapphires are sourced primarily from the gemfields of Central Queensland, Australia, with select stones from Madagascar and Nigeria. The extraordinary color zoning occurs during crystal growth: as geological conditions shift over millions of years, different trace elements (iron for yellow-green, titanium and iron for blue) are incorporated into successive growth layers of the corundum crystal.
The art of cutting a parti sapphire lies in orienting the stone to display its color zones to maximum effect. Unlike traditional sapphires where uniform color is prized, parti sapphires are celebrated for their divisions - the more distinct and harmonious the color boundaries, the more desirable the stone. Our cutters work with each crystal individually, studying its internal architecture before making a single cut.
All parti sapphires in our collection are certified by GWLAB (Gemstone & Watch Laboratory), which provides detailed documentation of each stone's color zoning, origin, and treatment status. We work exclusively with untreated or low-heat-treated stones, preserving the natural color that took millions of years to form.
